Severn & Avon Canal Guidebook

Following on from the Stourport Ring, this is the second of a new generation of Canal Companions, much expanded in page-count and presented in fully bound format with individually sewn sections for added durability ‘in the field’. Taking its cue from Meg Gregory’s lovely front cover roundel of May Hill, the waterways included in this guide include the rivers Avon and Severn; the Stratford-on-Avon, Worcester & Birmingham, Droitwich, Grand Union (Birmingham to Braunston), and Gloucester & Sharpness canals, which, taken together, provide full coverage of the popular Avon and Mid-Worcestershire ‘rings’. Also featured are the the emerging Cotswold Canals, subject of an ongoing restoration programme.
